e-Transport

In order to offer our customers the best possible service, we have incorporated a new system into the range of IT solutions that they can provide: This is called e-Transport.

e-Transport enables our customers to interface directly with our computer system so that they can book jobs directly, check on the delivery status of the work being carried out, and retrieve electronically copies of POD's as required.

This is done using a dedicated web server, located at our main site, and ensures that our customers can receive up to date, relevant information when they need it, in confidence and with absolute security.

Electronic POD Tracking

POD's have become an important part of any industry. Many of our customers require POD's as soon as possible for their clients and to generate sales invoices. To this end, all POD's are scanned into our computer system and areimmediately available for you to view through our e-Transport system online. Alternatively we can retrieve the information quickly and effectively for you, and either fax, e-mail or post the POD to you immediately.

Satellite Tracking

The ability to keep our customers informed of our vehicle locations has always been important to us. This is especially true when it comes to express loads where time is of the essence.

To this end, all of our own fleet is fitted with a GSM-based tracking system, which enables us to route the nearest appropriate vehicle to any collections that you have, ensuring your goods are collected without delay, ready for delivery.

It is also invaluable in providing information to our customers when asked, such as finding out retrospectively what any vehicle did on a previous occasion, in order to confirm arrival timesand departure times.

The system also allows us to send and receive information electronically from the vehicle cabs, allowing us to ensure any change to schedules is accuratly and quickly communicated.
